High school students hoping to win a free prom have tallied over 1,000,000 votes so far in Stumps Proms Across America Contest. There will be 50 winners, one from each state, and over $65,000 in prizes.
South Whitley, IN -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/01/2010 -- High school students hoping to win a free prom and are tallying almost 50,000 votes a day. StumpsParty.com is hosting the Proms Across America Contest which will soon announce 50 different high school winners with one winner from each state. Three grand-prize winning schools will receive a $5000 Stumps Party gift certificate, deejay expenses paid up to $1000, and royalty items for the entire prom court.
Students, from 1,000 schools across America, hoping for dream proms at their schools have cast over 1 million votes so far this year, which is already more than the 290,776 votes cast during last year’s contest.
Stumps Prom & Party sells the personalized invitations, theme decorations, favors, fancy table settings, and royalty items needed for a proper high school prom. Students can cast votes for their schools at http://www.stumpsparty.com/freeprom. Contest voting ends March 15, 2010 at 11:59pm. The school with the most votes in each state enters into a drawing for one of three, grand prize giveaways. Each of the 47 runner-up schools wins a $1000 Stumps Party gift certificate. Winners will be contacted and announced by March 29, 2010.
