Hotelwithheart.com, the world’s first and only online hotel booking site that gives to charity at no costs to travellers, signed up a beneficiary partnership agreement with Community Chest (Singapore) a national organisation established for the sole purpose of raising funds to be utilised by all government-registered charity organisations in Singapore.
Singapore-- (SBWIRE) -- 04/12/2010 -- The partnership was signed on 5 April 2010 at the CommChest (Singapore) office by Helen Yeo, Director, Hotelwithheart.com, and Tan Bee Heong, Director for Community Partnership, CommChest (Singapore). Also present from CommChest (Singapore) were Caryl Loh, Assistant Director, Partnership Marketing and Debbie Lui, Deputy Director for Community Partnership and officers of Hotelwithheart.com.
As partners, Hotelwithheart.com pledges to donate up to 50% of its earned commission from hotels to CommChest (Singapore) at no cost to guests. CommChest (Singapore), for their part, will now undertake to help spread the word about Hotelwithheart.com to their colleagues and supporters either by word of mouth, news release, and other special events.
CommChest (Singapore) directors expressed appreciation for Hotelwithheart.com’s business model which incorporates donation to charities.
Hotelwithheart.com is owned by Spero Pte Ltd. Aside from CommChest (Singapore); Hotelwithheart.com also has the International Committee of the Red Cross, Worldwide Fund for Nature and 2009 CNN Hero Efren Penaflorida’s Dynamic Teen Company as partner beneficiaries.
