The application has a library part and a XML part. All the application specific code is written in XML with the SQL queries. RADIT 1.0 had some limitations hence SPEC India has released a New Version of its RAD tool called RAID 2.0 which has been re-designed from scratch using JSON.

It also has Very flexible child window implementation which Support all parent operations in additional to transferring multiple records to parent. It is also possible to delete the multiple records on one shot.

The another biggest advantage is easy maintenance as it require only a knowledge of XML , SQL and the library interfaces which any one can easily learn. It also supports custom logic ( server / client ) , based on JSON interface. The code size is - 60% (6k lines vs 10k lines of c# server code) of the code size compared to the first version RADIT (1.0). In spite of added data controls/Ajax Minimal changes required in XML of Version v1.0. Custom logic changes may take additional time based on complexity. Total isolation of Custom code from library / js code . no code change required in library code for custom coding. Very good User interface can also be designed by custom coding. It also has other functions like custom buttons on table header, user operation control.
