Apart from the teams obvious star-selling power, it is thought that this increase is due to the season starting to come alive and people are also willing to pay more to kick-start their summer advertising, especially as this will be the first holiday season that the UK has had coming out of the recession.

The team is positive about the future, with Team Leader James Grant saying, “Although we have weathered the recession extremely well, it is looking very bright at the moment, and we will certainly be beating our records month-on-month from now on”.

Featured Adverts mean that instead of being listed on the main page with other advertisements, you are instead displayed at the top with a paragraph of text and a photo. The featured advert is placed in that location for one month, and after that, depending on which package has been taken out, they will continue to have a regular advert on the main part of the website. Only one Featured Advert is available for each county covering each type of accommodation, so spaces were limited and the response has been really encouraging.
