Child Talent Manager Launches New Entertainment Podcast Featuring the Latest Hollywood Buzz and Advice for Families of Child Actors

A former child talent manager announces the launch of a new weekly podcast series to guide anyone who is interested in a career in the entertainment industry, or who simply wants to find out the current Hollywood buzz.

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/19/2010 -- Kinda McCullough, author, former child talent manager, and the entrepreneur behind the successful Kinda's Kidz Fragrance Line, is launching a new weekly entertainment podcast for anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in show business, or who just wants the latest Hollywood Buzz.

McCullough is drawing on her years of experience as a child talent manager in Los Angeles for her new podcast. Originally, she started by writing a series of articles on her website offering parents numerous tips about how to help their children break into the entertainment industry in a fun, safe, and positive manner - and what pitfalls they should avoid.

"The articles were so popular that it inspired me to create this podcast series. It's a weekly entertainment countdown of the top 10 news in entertainment and an advice segment to help parents of talented kids pursuing a career in entertainment," according to McCullough.

The podcast will debut Friday July 16th, and every following Friday. It will be available for download on iTunes and also on her website at www.kindamccullough.com/kindaskountdown

"The entertainment industry can be a wonderful career that pays well and lets children and parents experience life in a way they wouldn't have the opportunity to do otherwise - but it's also work. It's a job. And it's a very competitive field. My goal has always been to give kids and their families the best possible chance of success in this exciting field, while keeping them safe from the unique pitfalls and challenges that come with being a young child in a field like this."

McCullough will also be discussing trends in the entertainment industry today, especially as it relates to child talent.

In addition to being a child talent manager, McCullough also appeared on Days Of Our Lives soap opera as a Psychiatrist intern extra, along with other extra roles in hit T.V. shows and major films. She studied at the Michael Howard Acting Studio in NYC.

McCullough is also an author, having recently completed the thrilling, semi-fictionalized novel "Kinda’s Kidz: Confessions of A Hollywood Talent Manager."
