London, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/26/2010 -- Roxy Music are an English art rock group formed in 1971 by Bryan Ferry, who became the group’s lead vocalist and chief songwriter. The other members are Phil Manzanera (guitar), Andy Mackay (saxophone and oboe) and Paul Thompson (drums and percussion). Former members include Brian Eno (synthesizer and “treatments”), and Eddie Jobson (synthesizer and violin). Although the band took a break from group activities in 1983, they reunited for a concert tour in 2001, and have toured together intermittently since that time.

Roxy Music have announced their first UK tour in over a decade, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of this hugely influential band. The seven date For Your Pleasure UK tour commences on 25 January 2011 in Newcastle and concludes at London's 02 Arena on 7 February 2011. The band features the original line-up of Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay, Phil Manzanera and Paul Thompson.
