On Tuesday night, 10-year-old Jackie Evancho belted out a Puccini aria to a television audience of millions with the polished and powerful voice of a seasoned performer much older than her years - and she won the hearts of the judges and the audience. The precocious soprano, a Pittsburgh-area fourth-grader who auditioned for the NBC show with a YouTube video, wowed the panel with a live performance of “O Mio Babbino Caro.”
