Latest Version Accelerates Non-Linear Review and Streamlines Workflow to Reduce Cost and Risk During Most Expensive Phases of E-Discovery Process
Mountain View, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/19/2010 -- Clearwell Systems, Inc., a leader inintelligent e-discovery, today announced the latest release of the Clearwell Review Module. Available in version 6.0 of the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform, the enhanced Review Module enables users to perform rapid, non-linear review by presenting all similar documents together, dramatically increasing review speed and thereby reducing review costs. In addition, because Clearwell provides processing, early case assessment (ECA), review and production in a single platform, customers no longer need to process data using one tool, create a load file, then upload that into a separate tool for review. By eliminating the need to create and manage load files, Clearwell streamlines workflow and reduces errors, to deliver significant cost savings and mitigate risk throughout the e-discovery process.
“Moving e-discovery data through multiple tools for culling, processing, analysis, review and production can significantly increase project time, cost and risk,” said Ron Best, Director of Legal Information Systems, Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. “Single-platform tools such as Clearwell, with integrated processing, early case assessment, review and production capabilities, paired with proper workflow, can help speed up projects and reduce both risk and cost. Additional features such as find-similar can further increase speed and efficiency for fact analysis, review and quality control.”
The Clearwell E-Discovery Platform is an enterprise-class solution purpose-built for e-discovery. Key new features available in this release include:
Find Similar: Enables reviewers to easily identify emails, attachments, and loose files that are similar to the document being reviewed, increasing the speed and consistency of review.
Auto-Resume: Allows reviewers to automatically save their place when securely logging out of Clearwell and pick up at the same point when they log in to continue their analysis or review, offering significant cumulative time savings over the duration of the case.
Auto-Batching: Allows case administrators to easily create review folders and subfolders and organize documents into review sets, streamlining the management of large-scale review.
Review Folder Management: Enables case administrators to assign review folders and subfolders to specific reviewers. Reviewers can check-out folders, see which folders have already been checked out and check-in folders once review is completed.
Review Progress Report: Visually displays case progress reports, allowing administrators to monitor the status of a case in real-time and adjust assignments to meet key deadlines.
Reviewer Productivity Report: Automatically generates a graphical report showing the number of documents tagged by reviewers over a chosen time period. Case administrators can easily customize reports and compare reviewer productivity levels, enabling simple and effective management of large-scale review.
“Product innovation has always been critical to Clearwell’s success in helping our customers efficiently and accurately gain control over the e-discovery process. Drawing upon direct feedback from the many customers using Clearwell to manage large-scale review projects, the new features in this release provide the greater review speed and accuracy needed to cope with rising volumes of ESI,” said Kurt Leafstrand, senior director of product management at Clearwell Systems. “With these enhancements, Clearwell provides a superior platform to enable enterprises, government agencies and law firms to master any kind of e-discovery project, from processing to ECA to review, either in-house or on a hosted basis.”
Clearwell will be showcasing the new features at ILTA (Booth #331), August 23-26 in Las Vegas. To learn more about the new capabilities, email info@clearwellsystems.com or call 1-877-CLEARWELL.
