WYOld West Brewing Company has a long term vision of producing world class craft beer from high quality malt barley grown in Wyoming. This start-up brewery is looking to raise $9,000 via Indiegogo to meet a mission of increasing their fleet of kegs used for distribution.
Powell, WY -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/10/2014 -- Northwest Wyoming is known to produce some of the world's best malting barley. WYOld West Brewing Company, a start-up brewery from this region, is looking to produce the highest quality craft beer utilizing locally grown raw materials. In addition to purchasing locally, the company is also committed to investing in the local market. With this mission, WYOld West Brewing Company has already purchased a 7,000 sq. ft. building as their brewery, retail store, restaurant, and lounge.
WYOld West Brewing Company is purchasing their grain and hops from the local market. The company plans to distribute their handcrafted beer outside their region. This distribution process requires an adequate stock of cooperage – kegs. A smaller fleet requires a smaller investment but may cause bottlenecks in terms of supply. The primary objective behind this fundraising initiative is to increase the company's keg fleet.
In keeping with WYOld West Brewing Company's philosophy to turn to local talent in every aspect of their beer production, some of Wyoming's most talented artists – Laurie J. Lee, Sierra Morrow, Lynn Richardson & Tawni Shuler have contributed works of art to appear on glass growlers being offered as a perk. These one-of-a-kind growlers make a unique collector's piece.
WYOld West Brewing Company has already made significant progress including:
- Business Plan written and modified.
- Building purchased in downtown Powell, WY
- Building has been gutted and is in the construction phase
- Brewing equipment has been ordered
Pledges received via Indiegogo will allow WYOld West Brewing Company to add to their fleet of kegs for distribution. The funding requirement for this project is $9,000.
