This London designer appeals to anyone who loves a scarf to help her take her beautiful Alva-Norge scarves to the fashion fair Who's Next in Paris.
London, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/20/2015 -- Alva-Norge is a scarf label that has sprung from a passion for design and fashion. I wanted a canvas from my art work and that is how the scarves were created. So far the label has been really well received and it has been endorsed by celebrities such as Deborah Meaden. As the label is growing and becoming more established I realise that I need better exposure and profiling. In order for me to push the business to the next level I need to reach a wider audience of buyers.
She is appealing to the public through crowdfunding so she can raise the funds she needs to put her scarves on exhibit at the Who's Next fashion show in Paris. Who's Next is an accessories show featuring both independent brands and the large super brands with over 58,000 attendees expected. Ms. Totland sees this as an excellent venue to reach retail buyers and other decisions makers who can literally put Alva-Norge on the map all over the world
Reaching her crowdfunding goal of £8,000 will enable Rags to pay for the exhibition stand, the travel expenses and merchandise to display as well as create marketing materials for distribution at the show. Rags considers herself fortunate as the exhibit stand alone ordinarily costs £9,000 all by itself.
Backers of her Kickstarter need not live in London or Paris or be world travelers; they can select from any number of beautiful Alva-Norge perks with free shipping to anywhere in the world.
This crowdfunding campaign ends on March 4th, 2015.

About Rags Totland
Rags launched Alva-Norge in 2012, born of her passion for art and print design. She needed an outlet for her designs and Alva-Norge became the perfect medium for her expression. Rags has always had a passion for fashion so starting a scarf label was a very natural progression. She draws a lot of her inspiration from the nordic landscapes where she grew up. Alva-Norge designs are very much focused on the enchanted Nordic nature.
