Paramus, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/14/2015 -- Go the Distance for Autism invites the community to attend a day of autism-friendly family fun on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Bergen Community College. Attendees will be treated to bounce houses, a trackless train, sweet treats, a catered BBQ lunch and numerous vendors from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

"Go the Distance for Autism is a great event for all families – both those affected by autism and those who simply want to enjoy a family-friendly day of fun," says Jill Nadison, Executive Director at REED Academy. "Our vendors have interactive opportunities for the kids involving music and characters, but there's a lot for grown-ups too – including free chair massages, delicious food, giveaways and the chance to win some great prizes."

Bikers and guests will also enjoy additional exciting activities and entertainment to celebrate the event's sixth consecutive year. There will be DJ's, an obstacle course, football and basketball games, a self-contained riding area for young children (bring your bikes and scooters) and plenty of popcorn and cotton candy.

Go the Distance for Autism is a collaborative fundraising effort supporting children and adults with autism by four northern New Jersey organizations – Alpine Learning Group in Paramus, the EPIC School in Paramus, Garden Academy in West Orange, and REED Academy in Oakland.
