Dover's background includes more than 22 years of technical and cross-functional experience, along with 14 years in strategic leadership roles at Nashville-area companies and 12 years of local public leadership. In his new position, Dover will help build Valintry's consulting business in Nashville and beyond.

A natural leader with deep, thriving roots in Tennessee, Dover graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University, thereafter working as a software developer, business analyst, and technical specialist for a number of companies in the Nashville area. Less than a decade out of college, Dover added a new dimension to his resume with a stint as a councilman in his hometown of Smyrna, later going on to lead the town in the part-time positions of Vice Mayor and Mayor.

That string of ambitious public leadership positions endowed Dover with a uniquely valuable roster of experiences. Located in one of the fastest-growing counties in the country, Smyrna gave Dover a special vantage point that bolstered his ability to drive growth and competitive advantage even further. As he worked to entice global enterprises to the area and grow their presences in Smyrna and Greater Rutherford County, Dover built up skills that will contribute greatly to his effectiveness at Valintry.

Dover has been just as accomplished in the private sector, having served as Director and CIO for a number of top companies in the Nashville area. In the role of Director of Network Operations and Security at MedSolutions, he guided the company's IT activities through a period of rapid expansion while consistently maintaining strong security standards. As the Director of Network and Computing Services at Medical Reimbursements of America in Brentwood, he refined and reorganized the company's IT operations, establishing new procedures that left it primed for future growth.

Most recently, as the Chief Information Officer of PatientFocus, he developed and executed on a technology road map that put the company's IT assets in precise alignment with its business goals. Dover's work at PatientFocus earned him a 2014 award from the Nashville Business Journal for being one of the most effective CIOs at a company of that size.
