In his new column, Top 5 (Totally-Free) Places to Find Screenplays Online, Michael Rogan of ScriptBully magazine shares his top sources for quality screenplays - and not a single one of them will cost a penny.

"There's never been a better time to find reams of screenplays, totally free, that a screenwriter can use to learn their craft," said Rogan. "I only wish they were around when I was starting out."

Rogan was inspired to write the column after receiving countless queries about the best places to find screenplays online.

"Many screenwriters, just starting out, want to see what an actually professional screenplay looks like," said Rogan. "But they're not sure where to find 'em."

Just like anything on the Internet, Rogan can't guarantee these sites will be around forever. "I've seen a lot of these sites come and go."

But Rogan encourages screenwriters to head to these sites, download a bunch of scripts - "Don't forget to click on the ads; these folks need to make money somehow" - and add them to their screenwriting vault.

"Forget film school," said Rogan. "If you wanna learn screenwriting, just print out 100 scripts and read 'em over. You'll get to be a pro before you know it."
