Astoria, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/18/2010 -- The 20th annual Los Angeles Music Awards and its sister productions the Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards, and the Phoenix Music Awards are all rolled into one event on Thursday, Nov. 18th, 2010. The red carpet event is on the lot at Paramount Studios inside the historic Paramount Theater.
This year's event coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the 75th birthday of the historic Paramount piano.
Attendees and honorees are expected to include former President Jimmy Carter, Black Sabbath, award-winning actress Sally Kirkland, Led Zeppelin / Jimmy Hendrix Music producer Eddie Kramer, former Senator Max Cleland, Night Rangers’ Jack Blade,Leigh Taylor Young, Won-G and many more.
The two Brother's Josh and JB Welch, are the center of this talented young pop group. Expanding beyond the group they are staring in their own TV show "Josh and JB in the Industry," the duo are heading their own record label Junior Records and are among the youngest people to put together their own label.
"Josh & JB in the Industry" is produced by Michael Becker of Imprint Entertainment, the production company of Twilight. The show was airing on CBS last year and is gearing up for its new season in the U.S. The TV show is currently airing internationally in 30 countries, on some of the biggest TV stations world wide. The series follows Josh and JB journey in the music industry, climbing the ladder to stardom, the twist and the tangles of opening a record label, and everything that comes with it.
Junior Records is distributed by Dauman/ Universal records. It is currently releasing the single "Dancefloor" written in collaboration with Tim Myers, a hit song writer, formally from the band One Republic, Co-Produced with Drew Lane who won Billboard Music Awards for his production on 'High School Musical." Within the two weeks of the song being released it has already 50,000 hits.
Josh and JB are from a multi-racial background, they co-write and co-produce their own music, forming a unity between one another, and creating their own multi-ethnic diverse and unique sound. Their music has a unique sound with a mixture of pop, rock, and electro.
Paramount will honor the instrument that composed the original score to the Wizard of Oz in 1935 when it was first delivered to the lot. Since that year, this piano has composed nearly 800 movie scores on its eighty-eight keys. The piano will be played at the L.A. Music Awards Main Event by Italian pianist Adriano Aponte and White House pianist David Osborne, who will also perform with local actress and singer, Juliette Goglia.
