Interoperability between SECUDE Security Intelligence and the RSA enVision® Platform Enables Deep and Complete SAP Application Monitoring for Joint Customers
Darmstadt, Germany -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/19/2010 -- SECUDE today announced that it has joined the RSA Secured® Partner Program to certify interoperability between Security Intelligence (SI) and RSA enVision® solution from RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC). This certification has been established to help increase security for joint customers, enabling deep and complete SAP application monitoring (for ABAP-based SAP Business Suite and SAP NetWeaver applications) and lowering monitoring and audit costs for customers.
“Monitoring of business critical enterprise applications such as SAP applications is crucial, and the interoperable solution offers strong visibility into what is going in the SAP landscape of our joint customers” says Jens Kettler, Product Manager with SECUDE. “Security Intelligence closes the gap between SAP systems and SIEM solutions. RSA and SECUDE have been working very closely to drive the development of Security Intelligence for SAP, which provides to the RSA enVision solution access to SAP security data offering strong depth and completeness, combining SECUDE’s SAP security expertise and the market leading SIEM solution of RSA.”
“We are pleased to welcome SECUDE to the RSA Secured Partner Program. SECUDE’s ability to monitor mission critical applications is essential for organizations looking to truly secure their vital systems and to improve their ability to comply with government regulations and industry best practices,” said Ted Kamionek, Vice President, Corporate Development at RSA. “Our interoperability will help customers to effectively and efficiently increase their security through user and application monitoring as well as lower their costs for SAP monitoring and audits.”
Security Intelligence (SI) is a middleware that is running on an SAP Application Server ABAP or other SAP system, written in ABAP. It connects to the various ABAP based applications and extracts security and compliance relevant data from several SAP log files, change documents, tables, transports, system parameters, and forwards the information to the RSA enVision platform. With this interoperable partnership, central security monitoring of complex landscapes becomes easy.
