Quest CE Announces New Forex Currency Trading Course in Their 2011 Firm Element Catalog

Quest CE announces their new Forex Currency Trading course. The course is available for their 2011 Firm Element Catalog along with a series of other new titles for Broker/Dealers.

Milwaukee, WI -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/23/2010 -- Quest CE is proud to announce one of their new 2011 highly anticipated Firm Element Courses titled “Forex Currency Trading.” Quest authors between 30 and 50 new courses every year with course content ideas coming directly from their client base and industry surveys. A survey conducted earlier this year indicated the demand for courses covering Forex trading transactions, best practices and market analysis of the trades.

Quest answered the industries demand with the new “Forex Currency Trading” course, authored by their in-house staff of financial services industry veterans. The course is available today for 2011 FINRA Firm Element Programs and presented in a visually pleasing and interactive e-learning course in Quest’s proprietary Renaissance LMS.

“Every year we turn to our clients and also survey the industry to tell us which topics are of interest to them,” said Alan Krenke, President and CEO. “The responses were overwhelmingly positive. We pooled the results from our surveys along with the discussions we had with our clients to create our 2011 Firm Element Course Catalog. It has always been a goal of Quest to maintain a current and relevant course library that is able to address the issues most beneficial to the industry.”

Content is King

A serious problem facing the vast majority of other Firm Element Training vendors is old and outdated content. In the financial services industry, re-releasing a firm element course catalog without updated content is irresponsible. Quest is committed to authoring 30 to 50 new Firm Element courses each year and performing a minimum of annual audits to their entire course library.

Following is the course description for the new “Forex Currency Trading” course authored for 2011:

The world’s largest most liquid market is where Forex trading transactions are made daily. Profits are derived from the selling or buying of currency pairs. The main idea is to sell high and acquire low.

Forex traders buy currency expecting its value to rise. Profits include the primary investment plus the profit derived from the difference in rate when a trade is closed. Losses are calculated by looking at the leverage and difference in the closing and opening price.

In this course, students will be introduced to:

• Forex History
• Terminology
• Types of Trades
• Market Mechanics
• Leverage
• Rollovers
• Accounts
• Market Analysis
