Laboratory Testing Inc. has promoted Lee Dilks to manager of the Chemistry and Metallography Labs. In his new role, he oversees materials testing, chemical analysis, corrosion testing, metallurgical analysis and failure analysis services.
Hatfield, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/30/2010 -- Lee Dilks of Lahaska, PA has been promoted to Manager of the Chemistry and Metallography Labs at Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI). The two laboratories are part of the company’s Destructive Testing Services Department and perform a wide-range of materials testing, chemical analysis, corrosion testing, metallurgical analysis and failure analysis services.
As Manager, Dilks oversees first-shift and second-shift staffing, processing of orders, department audits and all other materials testing operations in Chemistry and Metallography. The Chemistry Lab provides corrosion testing and chemical analysis including material characterization, trace element analysis, salt spray testing, humidity testing, wet chemistry and positive material identification (PMI) services. A variety of metallurgical analysis services such as microscopic, macroscopic and microhardness examinations, failure analysis, scanning electron microscopy and digital imaging are performed in the Metallography Lab at Laboratory Testing Inc.
Dilks has been with LTI for 23 years performing chemical analysis and testing services, while holding positions of increasing responsibility in the Chemistry Laboratory. His most recent position was Chemistry Supervisor for the past seven years. He holds a B.A. degree in Biology from LaSalle University.
