For the exterior, the 2011 Lincoln MKX received a comprehensive facelift, including new fenders, hood, fascia and grille.

Bi-functional projector beam headlights, with adaptive HID lamps as an option, were added. Along the body flanks, the lower cladding is accented with a cleanly tapered chrome accent strip and the door handles are chrome plated. Underneath the vehicle, the standard 18-inch and optional 20-inch wheels are new. They incorporate a series of complex shapes to make up the spokes.

New technology features help Everett drivers connect and stay entertained while on the road. MyLincoln Touch, standard on 2011 Lincoln MKX models for Everett Ford drivers, replaces traditional vehicle buttons, knobs and gauges with two 4.2-inch configurable LCD screens in the instrument panel and an 8- inch LCD touch screen in the center stack, plus 5-way buttons like those found on cell phones and MP3 players. These screens can be personalized to display information relevant to each driver using a simple button click, voice command or touch screen tap.

The touch cells control items such as radio seek, radio station tuning, CD track seek, defrosters and air conditioning. The climate controls allow drivers to program and set the desired interior temperature. Utilizing the MyTemp button allows the user to store a desired temperature like a radio preset, which can be increased or decreased as desired. This feature is provided so that temperatures can be quickly adjusted to a frequently used setting at the touch of a button. In addition to standard audio and climate control settings, the touch sensitive technology also operates the volume and fan controls through innovative fingertip slider bars.

The 2011 Lincoln MKX, available now at Harris Ford, has both Intelligent Access with Push Button Start and a factory installed remote start as standard equipment. Adaptive cruise control and Collision Warning with Brake Support are other available features.

This system allows drivers to set the vehicle speed and maintain it without using the accelerator pedal, and warns you of a potential collision risk. It also helps reduce speed and automatically pre-charges brakes and engages an Electronic Brake Assist system to help the vehicle stop more quickly when the system detects a collision might be imminent.
