The advanced brushes, which will be offered as add-ons and replacements, are priced at $2.50 each, almost one-eighth of what key competitors sell for similarly manufactured items.

Low-Priced Brushes for High-End Portable Steam Cleaners

The economical add-on detailing brushes are a key element of Daimer®'s low-cost initiative created for professional janitorial operations facing constricted budgets in a tough economy. Daimer® senior management estimates that buying 100 of the new add-on detailing brushes for an 8460-360 will run $250. A similar acquisition from a competitor could run as high as $2000.

The new brush options for the 8460-360 CVP series of portable steam cleaners will be sold in a range abrasion densities. Stainless steel bristles will generate maximum abrasion, the brass bristle option will generate lower abrasion levels and the nylon products will produce the minimum abrasion available.

Daimer®'s 60 Hz, 600-volt KleenJet® Ultra 8460-360 CVP portable steam cleaners are sold configured for three-phase power. A line of 50 Hz machines is also sold by Daimer for customers in markets abroad. Each of the 4,850 watt systems provides over double the wattage/steam production of typical 1,600-watt steam cleaners.

The 600-volt equipment ships with nearly 24 liters of water capacity split between the boiler (14L) and the continuous refilling tank (10L). The 120 psi steam cleaners are also equipped with a direct water feed connection.
