Interestingly, more people who camped had a higher overall level of satisfaction with their lives compared to those who did not camp. Less people who camped on a regular basis said that they felt stressed throughout the course of an average day, compared to those who did not camp. Surprisingly, 80% of young campers felt that their parents are less stressed while they are camping, that their parents shout less than on an average day and hug them more. And despite eating a diet of barbequed sausages and bacon a third of all campers thought camping was a good way to lose weight, as they felt they are much more active whilst on a camping holiday compared to on an average day. And the majority of respondents thought that camping could improve their overall level of their health.
