The Isabella Santos Foundation Looks Forward to Their Annual Fun Run in September

Waxhaw, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/29/2016 -- The Isabella Santos Foundation is a cancer-fighting organization dedicated to Isabella Santos, a young girl who passed away in 2012 while battling Neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer. This foundation is based in Charlotte, North Carolina and has donated over $1,000,000 during the last six years for Neuroblastoma research and other charities that fight children's cancer. They are looking forward to their 9th Annual Fun Run in Charlotte, NC on September 24th, 2016 to celebrate Isabella's life and help save others.

The Isabella Santos Foundation's 9th Annual Fun Run will take place at Ballantyne Corporate Park on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 and will start at 8 a.m. There will be a 5K/10K for Kids Cancer and a 1 mile Fun Run so participants can exercise, have fun, and help raise funds for this foundation at the same time. There will also be other fun activities for those who do not consider themselves a runner, such as a kids zone with crafts and more, and a raffle and silent auction, where people can bid on beauty and spa packages, sporting events, vacations, and more.

When the Isabella Santos Foundation began, Isabella's parents hoped that it would fund research projects that could potentially save Isabella's life. Now, this Neuroblastoma Foundation is committed to raising money and awareness in the hopes that another child can be saved. They continue to fight for Isabella's strongest wish, which is to have a world with "no more cancer."
