Tollers Lead an Insightful Conference on Mental Capacity

 

Northampton, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/20/2017 -- Tollers, a leading regional law firm are pleased to announce they will be presenting a conference on the complexities of mental capacities in relation to law cases. The conference will be held on the 18th march 2017 at The Hilton Northampton, from 8.30am until 4pm.

Following the success of their 2016 conference, Tollers are providing another 2017 conference which will be aimed towards professionals who work with elderly and vulnerable people. The conference will involve discussions on the rights of elderly and vulnerable people, and will provide important updates on the rights of individuals and a guide to decisions which are made on their behalf due to their mental capacity.

Sponsored by Clarion and CAN, the conference is aimed at providing professionals in this area, with original and specialist research and viewpoints on the matters in hand.

The conference will include specialist guest speakers; primarily led by Baroness Finlay of Llandaff, who will be enlightening the audience on her work in mental capacity as an acclaimed professional in care of the dying and palliative medicine.

Other speakers include Barrister Martin Kingerely, who will provide an academic discussion on Deprivation of Liberty and the Court of Protection; and Clinical Neuropsychologist and Lead Psychologist in Neuropsychiatry Pathways, Dr Keith Jenkins, who will also be providing insights on mental capacity.
