Trade Going to Be Affected Post-Brexit: Atkinsons Comments

Heslington, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/23/2016 -- Following the Brexit decision, many people have been left uncertain regarding what the future is going to bring. However, one of the main focuses has definitely been the potential impact that the vote to leave the EU is going to have on trade.

Britain is going to be provided with the ability to negotiate its own Free Trade Agreements after leaving the EU, and many countries have already shown an interest in this. According to Guido Fawkes blog, twenty-seven countries have already expressed an interest in securing post-Brexit trade deals with Britain, including from ten of the largest economies in the world.

On the other hand however, negotiating deals can often take time and be incredibly complicated and with the majority of countries hesitating to sign any deals until they know the precise nature of the post-Brexit relationship between Britain and the EU no one can be certain who is going to make deals and who isn't. In addition to this, Britain has a noticeable lack of experience in trade negotiations so many countries are bound to hold back for some time.

A spokesperson from leading chartered accountants Atkinsons was keen to comment saying, "Like everybody else, we don't know what is going to happen going forward however we are here to assist all companies who need help through this difficult time and hold a high amount of knowledge, making us able to assist and advise all individually."
