Ouray, CO -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/30/2017 -- Ourayce is a 10K event open to people of virtually all ages. Proceeds from the 10K will go towards KURA, a local student-run radio station. Ourayce is the only annual fundraiser run by KURA. For more than a decade and counting, KURA-LP 98.9FM continues to provide business classes for students and a work environment in Ouray School.

Beginning at 8:00 AM, Ourayce participants will run or walk through a loop course starting at Ouray City Hall and ending right back in scenic Ouray. The 10K takes place at over 7,000 feet of elevation and remains a longtime staple held around Independence Day and the various festivities happening in and around Ouray, Colorado. Ourayce has remained a tradition for more than three decades.
