Matawan, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/21/2014 -- Founder Uri Namir's father Haim passed away a few months ago; He was a war hero, he didn't fight a conventional war but the war that life itself can bring.
After surviving cancer, he struggled with nine strokes, each time fighting successfully to get back, each time losing part of what he was.
Uri's father had been to wars and seen the horror and humility one should feel after surviving such, He worked most of his life to bring people together, helping whenever he could, to people he felt were unjustly harmed no matter religion, place or status.
"Life Memoir" campaign comes to honor his memory and doing.
The Life Memoir crowdfunding campaign targets friends, family and other community members that would like to enhance how loved ones are remembered. It will enable people to bring their loved ones’ memories and story, bring their pictures and movies, share magic moments, voice, feelings and expression.
Uri Namir is a common man with uncommon dreams. After losing his father he would visit his father's grave and felt that there should be more to it, every time he went. With funding help via Indiegogo, he would like to achieve the following:
- Build memorial display unit and casing
- Build memorial stand with connectivity and storage for kept and shared memories
- Develop a cloud-based memorial platform that would communicate with the display unit for uploading, updating and share memorial data.
- Perfect a self-sustaining display unit that will stand the test of time.
Funding support is required to build and provide the platform for enhanced personal and lively experience of loved ones. Each contribution would help this project get closer to:
- Enabling people to enhance the experience of their loved ones.
- Share stories, achievements and loved memories with family and friends
- Decide if one would like to share with others as they see fit.
- Upload or download loved memories on demand
- Be notified if the memories of the loved ones were updated and get new stories, pictures
