Brandon, MB -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/22/2019 -- Switching to a different version of QuickBooks is sometimes inevitable, especially when companies do business in multiple countries, and have divisions in more than one country.

Another likelihood is a bookkeeper using a certain version of QuickBooks for the main file.

"The only issue that businesses operating in different countries face is QuickBooks Conversions, specifically converting QuickBooks Canada to US Edition, or the US Edition to Canada or UK, mainly because the company has more than likely have files set up in a version of QuickBooks that is incompatible with the software in another division," John Rocha, Technical Services Manager said.

"These unique features make it impossible for the US version of QuickBooks to read a file from the Canadian version, and this can cause frustration and undue delays in the accounting process."
